The Sayfe Standard
These are the promises behind everything Sayfe makes. Every Sayfe product, starting with Sayfe Social, has to meet all of them before it launches. If a product can't keep these promises, we don't ship it.
We never sell your data
Not your activity, your contacts, or your behavior. Not to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
In practice: Sayfe is built so there's no behavioral profile of you to sell in the first place.
Your posts never train someone else's AI
What you write and share on Sayfe isn't licensed, sold, or handed to companies to train AI models.
In practice: Your posts stay inside Sayfe. They're never licensed or sold to outside AI companies.
If Sayfe builds its own AI: we'll announce it publicly at least 30 days before any training begins, and you'll be able to opt out, including your past posts.
You choose what you see
Your feed is built from the interests you pick, not from what an algorithm guesses will keep you scrolling.
In practice: Every post shows why it's there, you can change your interests at any time, and your feed has an end.
Private means private
Wherever Sayfe offers private messages, they're end-to-end encrypted by default. Not a setting to find, and not a feature that quietly disappears later.
In practice: We can't read your messages. Encryption protects what you say, and we'll state plainly what limited information we do keep, like when a message was sent.
A person reviews every report
Reports and bans go to real people, not just an automated filter. No silent shadow bans.
In practice: Every report gets a ticket number and a status you can check. Every ban can be appealed.
AI content is labeled
AI-generated posts are flagged, and you can filter labeled AI content out of your feed.
In practice: No detector catches everything, so posters are required to disclose AI content too. We won't pretend to catch what we can't.
Ads fit the page, not the person
Ads on Sayfe are matched to what you're looking at, never to a profile of who you are.
In practice: A camera ad can appear in a photography feed. It will never follow you there.
We tell you what we can't do
Honesty includes our limits. When something isn't built yet, or doesn't work perfectly, we say so.
In practice: No overclaiming in our app, our marketing, or our pitch to investors.
These promises will be written into our terms
Before Sayfe launches, the Sayfe Standard goes into our terms of service, so it can't be quietly undone by a policy update, a new executive, or a new owner.
In practice: Any change to the Standard will come with advance notice in plain English.
Why this matters
Most platforms ask for your trust and then spend it. Sayfe is built the other way around: the trust is the product.
Every future Sayfe product inherits this standard. That's the deal.
